About the role

Your eCommerce Team partners with brands across categories—from apparel to party supplies—to grow their online sales. We’re hiring a full‑time Ecommerce Content Writer to craft high‑converting product descriptions and SEO‑friendly blog content for client stores and to support our own channels (blog, email, LinkedIn posts).

What you’ll do

  • Write product descriptions that sell: benefit‑driven, on‑brand, and optimized for search and conversion.

  • Create blog articles (brief to draft to publish) that drive qualified traffic and support category/collection strategies.

  • Follow brand voice and SEO guidelines; build briefs, outlines, and meta data (titles, meta descriptions, H1s).

  • Perform keyword and topic research using SEMrush; map keywords to pages and content calendars.

  • Light visuals in Canva for blogs, social, and emails (e.g., simple graphics, headers, pins).

  • Publish and QA content in common CMS/ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress); check formatting, links, schema basics.

  • Collaborate with account managers, designers, and developers to keep copy accurate and on time.

  • Measure and iterate: watch rankings, CTR, and engagement; propose updates to improve results.

  • Contribute to internal content (Your eCommerce Team blog, email, and LinkedIn posts).

What success looks like (KPIs)

  • On‑time delivery and editorial quality (grammar, clarity, accuracy, tone).

  • Growth in target keyword rankings and organic traffic for assigned pages.

  • Product page conversion lift (where measured) and reduced returns via clearer copy.

  • Positive client feedback and low revision count.

Must‑have qualifications

  • 1–2 years of hands‑on content writing for ecommerce or content marketing.

  • Excellent written English (C1/C2 level): grammar, structure, and concise, persuasive copy.

  • Working knowledge of SEMrush (keyword research, content templates, basic audits).

  • Comfortable in Canva for simple creatives.

  • Familiarity with Shopify or WordPress for publishing.

  • Strong research skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a 40‑hour workweek.

  • Located in the Philippines and able to work remotely with reliable internet.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of ecommerce taxonomies, variant options, and product data.

  • Basic HTML formatting and on‑page SEO best practices (internal links, schema basics).

  • Experience with Klaviyo or email copy, GA4/GSC, and copy frameworks (AIDA, PAS).

  • Experience writing across categories (apparel, accessories, party supplies, gifts).

Compensation & benefits

  • USD $6–$8 per hour (full‑time, 40 hrs/week). Approx. $1,040–$1,387 per month, depending on experience and test.

  • 13th‑month pay (PH).

  • Health‑insurance stipend.

  • Paid in USD; rate based on experience and skills assessment.

Schedule & location

  • Remote (Philippines).

  • 40 hours/week with some overlap to collaborate with global clients (exact schedule discussed in hiring).
